The tea emits a sweet and fruity aroma that intensifies upon steeping. As the leaves unfurl, a delightful aroma reminiscent of fruit preserves fills the air. The floral and sweet fruit notes can evoke memories of banana, pineapple, and mulberry, while the taste of brisk and sweet tea with a fleeting bitterness is accentuated by an orange hue.
Introducing "Whole Leaf Specialty Iranian Tea," produced by Lo Tea, using hand-picked, youngest tea leaves sourced from single estates in the heart of Iran. This tea is meticulously processed, from harvesting to processing and packaging, to bring you the finest black tea from Iran's tea bushes.
For this tea's production, the leaves are carefully selected from an 8,000-square-meter tea garden located in the enchanting region of Qaleh Rudkhan village. The unique geographical and climatic conditions of this small garden provide an ideal environment for tea cultivation, with the soil nourished by a mountain stream, and the tea bushes benefiting from the proximity to clouds, which bestow them with additional moisture. Moreover, the skilled gardening of Yassini brothers have set an exemplary trend among Iranian gardens with their progressive approach to cultivation. Clearly, the significance of the garden, tea cultivation, and the ultimate raw product, the green leaf, have been deeply considered, making it the perfect choice for producing Heritage Specialty Tea.
The tea leaves from this garden are carefully handpicked when they reach the standard of two leaves and a bud, about 5 - 6 days after the bud's emergence. Although handpicking is time-consuming and challenging, it is renowned for being the most precise method worldwide. As you may know, younger leaves have higher catechin levels compared to older ones, resulting in a more intense and aromatic flavor. Handpicking allows you to selectively harvest the youngest and best parts of the tea bushes, ensuring minimal damage to the plants and guaranteeing the quality of future harvests.
After harvesting, the leaves are transported to the well-equipped Lo Tea workshop for specialized processing. The processing method is tailored according to the leaf's condition, aiming to deliver a tea that appeals to the general preferences of Lo's discerning customers. The final product, Heritage Thousand Whole Leaf Tea, is expertly oxidized and carefully packaged, preserving all the goodness of the freshly picked leaves.
Heritage Specialty Whole Leaf Tea exudes captivating complexity. In its dry form, the tea emits a sweet and fruity aroma that intensifies upon steeping.
From our perspective, our Specialty Tea is a biochemical marvel, a proud and illustrious representation of Iranian tea. Lo's dynamic production methods continuously elevate the quality of this exceptional product.
Please note that the aroma profile may vary with changing seasons and weather conditions.
